Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago when my buddy Fred was retiring from work. I knew the quilt would be perfect for him, so I dug it out of the unfinished pile, and got to work. I managed to get it in done just in time. What do you think? Does he look happy with it?
Fred's wife sent me a message that he had it laid out on the couch for her to see as soon as she walked in from work. He then put it on their bed so they could sleep under it. Ahhhhhh!
I tried out this style of quilting on the quilt. I love it! I have since quilted a two other quilts using this overall pattern. Just way to much fun.
Linda you are a good friend you did an awesome job on the quilt I always say that if you have a quilt that is sitting in your stash it will eventually get a home, nice job on the quilting :)
