Sharon's Beauty

Today I want to share with you a quilt that I quilted for Sharon.

Stunning!  The pictures of her Mom are almost outshone by the beautiful hexagon flowers and appliqued vines and leaves.  It is to be used as a wall hanging in her home.  What a wonderful keepsake.

I didn't want the quilting to take anything away from the appliqué  so I did a little outlining and a background filler of roses and leaves.  One of my standard fillers for something soft and delicate.  Great job Sharon!

  2. Such a beautiful quilt. Yes the quilting is a great match for that design. I have a couple of appliqued quilt tops that are waiting to be done. Havent ventured there yet. Yikes!
