And now, for the rest of the story. Quite some time ago I won a jelly roll through a blog giveaway. I can't for the life of me remember whose. Anyways, the generosity of a quilter brought the fabric my way. I loved it, stroked it and felt so lucky to have it. Then one day my niece came to visit. It is wonderful to have someone in the family who shares my passion. She was admiring the bright colours of the fabric, so I gave it to her. She love it, stroked it and then came up with a plan. She made this quilt to give to one of her girlfriends for her birthday. So much love and giving was involved in making this quilt I just had to quilt hearts on it.
