Dawn's Quilt

I want to share with you a quilt that my friend Dawn had me quilt recently.  It was a rather large Sudoku quilt, with a large blue border.

Dawn asked me to quilt some words on the border.  Well, anyone that knows me knows that I have the worst handwriting, so this was a bit of a challenge.  I marked the quilt with a white pen trying my best to make the words legible.

This is the result!  I was happy when I was done, despite the stress of writing on someone else's quilt.  Yikes.

Can you believe it, week 25 of the Hexagons.  Where does the time go?

  3. Lovely writing! It always brings me back to when i learned to write in school. The teacher was a real stickler. Back then we had books specifically to practice.
