Most of this Rosette was pieced on my last camping trip. I used a little bit of the linen for the yellow and the outside rabbits. I wanted to change the colours up a bit, and the linens fit in nicely.
The centre block is not the same as Katja's. I received an earlier version with this centre. It was then changed and I already had this one made, so I left it.
Rosette 8 is in the works. I have changed the centre on this one as well, so don't think I'm giving you any hints! I just had to use a little of the soon to be released Cotton + Steel. The Sloths are adorable and I had to work them in.
As you are reading this, I'm away camping again. This is my survival kit. Three bindings, a couple of books, and some hand piecing that I've started using the hexagons from Katja's book. More on that later.
I wanted to share this video that is perfect for celebrating Canada Day! Canadian EH!
That looks like the perfect emergency kit to me! The EPP is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you are not sitting around doing nothing lol🇨🇦😎

ReplyDeleteThese rosettes always look so interesting as they grow. Hope you are having a lovely time away.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed seeing the video you had linked to this post. I can see a definite similarity to some of the sentiments for us here in Australia.
