A Couple of Finishes!
First up is my Hexagon quilt. I am so excited to have this one done. Most of the blocks are from Katja's block of the week Hexagons, however a few are blocks that I designed myself using EQ. The whole process was a lot of fun. Designing, picking fabrics, hand stitching them together, quilting and finally binding the quilt. And best of all, I now have a new couch quilt!
This quilt is called "Spring House." It is a pattern from Moda that you can down load here. I used the pattern as a guideline since I like to use my Easy Angle and Companion Angle rulers to make flying geese. Who says you have to follow a pattern exactly? Close ups of quilting on both these quilts are in previous posts.
Hope you all are having a wonderful weekend. I'm off to enjoy a quilting day with my Postie Friends!
