Just A Few Sampler Quilts

Lately it seems I'm finishing up a lot of Sampler Quilts for my friends.

First up is Christina's Modern Sampler quilt made from my quilt-a-long.  It will be given as a wedding gift this weekend.

Love the monogram block in the centre of the quilt.  I'm sure the new bride and groom will love this quilt.

Betty's quilt is also from the Modern Sampler Quilt-A-Long.  More traditional fabric makes for a lovely quilt.

What fun I had playing with this one!

Evelyn's Farmer's Wife is a beautifully pieced quilt.  She said she used the templates from the book to make the blocks.  I admire her patience.  A year to piece, but so worth the effort.

I have been working on a few projects of my own, but have to save the finishes till the fabric is closer to release date.  Oh so hard to do!

I have a little of the soon to be released Cotton + Steel in my possession, and am using these cute little Sloths in my next Rosette.

This handy "Seeyourstuff" bag is all loaded up to take camping this weekend.  We are going to a fishing lake, and since I don't fish, I plan on doing a little sewing.  Inside the bag is a little Zen Chic fabric that will be release this summer.  "Paper" and "For You."  A great combination that I can't wait to get sewing.

Linking up with Finish It Up Friday!

  1. I really love the first quilt. Lots of negative space to make the bright blocks pop, and I love her border. Nice quilting, too.
