I love cruising through the Moda Bake Shop for inspiration. Todays quilt was made from the Jelly Turnover pattern available here. I started with a fat eighth package of Kansas Troubles' fabric.
As always I adapted the pattern so that I used my Easy Angle Ruler to make the half squares.
The piecing went fairly quickly!
I tried to keep the quilting gender neutral. It is so hard to come up with masculine quilts. Kansas Troubles is my go to fabric for a man quilt!
Linking up with Finish It Up Friday.
It is a softly stunning and I love it!!!
ReplyDeleteOk Linda how do you do this? Another beautiful quilt done!
ReplyDeleteAnother great quilting motif for me to try! It's a lovely quilt Linda. See you tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteLove the quilting design. Soothing!
ReplyDeleteThat is a nice looking quilt. I have lots of HST's from block exchanges. I could do something like that with all my blocks.
ReplyDeleteWorking my way through my blogger dashboard. This looks great. Perfect quilting too
ReplyDeleteGreat design. I can see why you chose it. And, yes, perfect with that fabric.
ReplyDeleteI love the Jelly Turnover pattern, and you have made a real beauty! I keep trying to remember to dig out my Easy Angle...surely it is faster than two or four at a time!
