First up is the last in the series of Cotton + Steel quilts.
This quilt uses all the fabrics from both Trinkets and Rotary Club, including the double gauze and lawn fabric. Everything went together beautifully.
The label on the backing of Fireside. I love the way Fireside makes the quilts feel, and the way it shows off my quilting.
Next up is a quilt pieced by Gail that I quilted and bound. This is one of many that will be going up to Fort Mac for the victims of the wildfire! Gail's piecing of the disappearing four patch block was so precise. A real treat to finish.
Next up is a quilt pieced by Evelyn. Tiny little three and four in blocks that were also precisely pieced. I admire her patience.
The poly batting REALLY shows off my quilting. Love it!

Cotton + Steel Part 2
First up is this adorable baby quilt made from "From Porto with Love." Whimsical prints that are perfect for a child's quilt. The pattern is from Debbie at A Quilter's Table. Click here for the link. Check out her other tutorials available here.
I am trying real hard to put labels on the quilts I make. All the C + S quilts were in my car on the way to be mailed, when I clicked this pic which shows the label and a bit of the quilting. It is just so hard as time passes to remember all the details. Is that a sign I'm getting old? Couldn't be!
This is assorted C + S leftovers from all the other quilts The pattern is from Scrap-Basket strips and squares. I used cottons, double gauze, rayon and lawn and they all played nice together.
I'm heading out camping so my go to paper piecing kit is ready to go. Nothing like EPP by the fire.

Cotton + Steel Spring 2016 Part 1
The first two quilts from the Spring collection are large plus block quilts, pieced by Barbara and quilted by me.
This collection is Raindrop by Rashida Coleman-Hale. I love the big text print that says "Rain rain go away."
Print Shop by Alexia Abegg was used for the second quilt. The cat and dog faces in the grey and green fabrics are my favourite from this line.
This is a finish for by friend Sonja, a master quilter. The entire quilt was had pieced and hand quilted, using my pattern "Birds in Grandmother's garden."
Sonja was pretty excited to be putting the last few stitches in while visiting out at Katja's. Congratulations on the beautiful finish.

Touch A Star from Scrap-Basket Strips and Squares
I finished up this quilt before I headed off to Spring Market. I am really trying to put labels on my quilts. I have made so many it is getting difficult to remember all the details.
The pattern is Touch a Star, for Kim Brackett's newest book. This book lives up to the reputation of all her previous books. Fabulous! I've made two of the patterns from the book and plan on making a few more.
Return from market means work to do. This is the start of a quilt from Zen Chic's newest line.
And this is the end of two weeks work, one week before and one week after Market. A few quick pictures to be taken, and then off to Trend-Tex to ship out to their Reps to take on the road. A challenge that I am glad is completed. I'll be showing better pics of the quilts closer to the release dates for the fabrics.
