The End of the Hexie Trip.

All good things must come to an end.  The Hexies and I are home after another prairie adventure.

Our last stop in Winnipeg was at Grand Beach.  Sandcastles were under construction for a competition the following weekend.  It was a Humid 30 degrees so the beach began to fill up quickly.

We headed west and ended up at Gull Lake for an evening.  A delightful little prairie town celebrating the combination of farming and oil.

As great as the holiday was, I couldn't stop smiling when we came to the mountains and back into BC. Nothing quite like the feeling of home!
