Now that was fun!!!! The Disappearing Pinwheel block is somewhat addictive. Beware!!!!!
Check out my previous post for a link to the video.
Once you have made one, you just have to make another. The postie's had a quilt day yesterday so we were playing with the block. Nine blocks made a perfect baby quilt. This is the original setting in the video. Pieced, quilted, bound and ready to go.
Have you tried any new quilting technique lately?
I've seen a few quilts start to pop up with this block - so cute! I think I will use this baby quilt layout for the '100 Quilts for Kids' charity drive.
ReplyDeleteWell, that was fast! I plan to try a new ruler this week

ReplyDeleteI LOVE IT xx
ReplyDeleteLooks great. Going to check out that video. Saw your post but somehow missed there was a video duh! As a matter of fact the last couple of months was filled with lots of new techniques for me! :). I am waiting for a 9' ruler to use with the long arm. I cant believe how fast Jan went. Too many ideas, not enough time! Have a good one!
ReplyDeleteWow, you have been zooming along. They look great!
ReplyDeleteI especially like the little black dress. The fabrics work so well - it would never have occurred to me to use them. Wonderful.
I'm going to be making this block in pinks for my aunt. She needs a baby quilt for her first great granddaughter. Thanks for showing me this pattern. I'm having fun with it so far.
ReplyDeleteDone and already quilted and finished? WOW!
ReplyDeleteLooks terrific. Sure like the block.
