Last week I asked you to comment on who your favourite fabric designer was. I received a lot of wonderful comments, with the winning comment being lucky number 13, Linda. You should have received an email by now asking for your address, so I can ship your prize off to you.
Now, for this weeks giveaway. First up I have to show you a couple of quilts made from Coquette by Chez Moi.
This quilt I made as a little girl quilt. The colours are so bright and fun, and when you put them next to white, they just pop!
This next quilt was made by Noeline, and is for her spare bedroom. The pattern is from one of the Snibbles books. She is going to decorate the room around this quilt. I can't wait to see it done.
For this weeks giveaway I have six fat quarters of Coquette by Chez Moi. Leave me a comment as to what project you think this fabric would be perfect for.
And of course, I can't let the week go by without showing you my hexagon!
Have a wonderful weekend.

ReplyDeleteIt is always interesting to see the same fabrics used in different projects. I like the way your quilt uses the fabrics in way that makes them so colourful and cheerful. But I also like the way the star quilt makes the colours appear more subtle and quiet. Fascinating. Love them both. I could even see me making a cute baby quilt. Enjoy your weekend!

ReplyDeleteI love using white in a quilt - it really does make fabrics POP!! Your quilt is especially awesome! Super giveaway too!!!!
ReplyDeleteI think that they would make the sweetest baby girl quilt or some pillows
ReplyDeleteA sweet baby quilt for sure. Dresses are in my mind, as Spring approaches down here, but with fat quarters it would be hard, unless you go the patchwork way. Still, the bodice part of a girl's dress with one of those prints would be lovely, and I would be able to squeeze one out for my daughter.
ReplyDeleteA few throw pillows for a girl's bed would be a nice project too!
Oh pretty!! I would like to make my niece some cute little cuddly elephants in this fabric. Thanks for the chance.

I love Noeline's quilt - the Coquette has brilliant pastels and looks great against the white. I have a charm pack just waiting to be made into a table runner or a wall hanging and the fat quarters would help alot. Thanks for the give away!
ReplyDeleteThese colours arevery beautiful and girlis, with some 'attitude'. I think the'd make a good material for something practical: a bag, laptop cover, quilted vest or make-up bag. Thank you for the oportunity!
ReplyDeletei have a couple of little girls on a quilt list...and i like the 1st quilt in your pictures - so i'm thinking a quilt like that!
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely, lucious colors...I think they would make an excellent late summer outside-night throw. No batting, just enough thickness to keep the cool breezes and mosquitoes at bay. I saw a scarf/throw recenty that was a rectangle with two arm holes and it wrapped around your body....could give that a try.
ReplyDeleteLorraine B.
I think it would make a beautiful quilted bag
ReplyDeleteI would like use these fabrics for a quilt of my own! They would suit me and our living room :-) Erika/ehellmich@yahoo.com

ReplyDeleteGorgeous quilts , these fabrics would also make a wonderful lap quilt , just love them . Your hexie is really sweet!!
ReplyDeleteI love the fabrics in Noeline's quilts as well as how starry the quilt is. I'd think those colors would help one remember the warmth of spring and summer throughout a long cold winter.
ReplyDeleteThe fabric in the giveaway evoke the same kinds of feelings. Very pretty.
This would be perfect for tote bags I make for my charity group, World of Charity Stitching.
ReplyDeleteThanks,

ReplyDeleteGreat fabrics for a purse or some throw pillows! Need some new ones for my couch
ReplyDeleteLove the quilts. I'm going to have to start making Hexies, they are so cute. This fabric would make lovely pot holders or a casserole cover.
ReplyDeleteThat fabric would make cute doll dresses.
ReplyDeleteAs soon as I saw the fat quarters, i began designing a trip times two quilt for the queen size bed. The greater fun part would be picking out all the other fabrics that I would need.

I've been looking to make my daughter a pretty girly quilt that isn't super baby-ish but something she can grow into as well (she is 14 months old). This would be perfect.
ReplyDeleteThese would be really cute in a hexagon runner for a dresser, or even as a valance for a little girl's room :)
ReplyDeleteMy niece Lizzy needs a little quilt, and I think this would be perfect for something cheery, perhaps HSTs or wonky pinwheels.
ReplyDeleteThis would look great in a curved piece quilt course that I am hoping to take. The bright colour will be a nice contrast with white.
