Another challenge
A wonderful friend of mine invited me to join in on a challenge that involves 4 1/2" finished blocks. Now for those of you that whine about the 6" farmer's wife blocks, check these babies out. They are a lot of fun and yes, a little challenging to complete. I have to make four a month, so I think I can keep up.
If you check out last Fridays's post you will see that my giveaway is some Faded Memories fabric. From the same line I made an apron from this tutorial. It is a great pattern because the two side flaps hang free so that you have something to wipe your hands on. A must when I'm cooking.
Now doesn't this fabric look delicious. I received it in the mail today from Fabricworm. It was a giveaway from Laura who blogs here. Laura has a great sense of humour and I love following her blog.
Speaking of giveaways, a great blog to follow is The One Stop Giveaway Shop. You will find an assortment of giveaways listed and you never know, you just might win something!
Have a great day!

ReplyDeleteThose are cute tiny little blocks! I am working on the total opposite right now, three giant Union Jacks for a twin size quilt. ha Your fabric win is sooo yummy. Love those fabrics. Off to check out your giveaway. Have a great day, Linda! :)
ReplyDeleteThat's quite a haul! I love the little guys in the boat ; ) the 4" blocks look great too
ReplyDeleteI adore tiny blocks - I currently have two 4" finished projects - The Grandmothers Choice which you commented on and a scrappy basket block. It's really hard to go make 12" blocks after these little jobbers...
