Last Saturday I was teaching a pinwheel class for the local guild. What a lot of fun! The fourteen women came with a variety of fabrics, making for an exciting show and tell of blocks.
The pinwheel block has a peeled back centre, making the block look three dimensional.
This is my quilt. I can hardly wait to see what the class participants come up with for their quilts. Some were talking diagonal sets, some wanted sashing. They will be bringing their finished tops to guild in May so I will be sharing pictures then.
And I can't forget this weeks Hexagon!
your quilt is beautiful Linda. Will it be in the shoppe?
ReplyDeletelooking forward to seeing all the quilts xx Yours looks great x
ReplyDeleteHow cute. Good teaching job.
ReplyDeleteI love those blocks some look very familiar, you are one great teacher!
ReplyDeleteAwesome pinwheels. I so love the variety you get when quilters come together to do a common pattern.
ReplyDeleteHope you Easter is good. We are in the middle of a blizzard here in NS!
I love this one - I don't have this yet - Christie will bring all the newest when she comes back to CR in June - she holds them hostage - I actually think they will get lost in her car
