The New Hexagon Millefiore Quilt-A-Long Update

I'm three months into Katja's Quilt-A-Long, and loving it.  Click here for details if you think you want to join in.  I'm following the progress of the 2670 members of the Facebook group. Amazing work by some very talented quilters.

My first three rosettes are currently hanging in Katja's store, as her first three are with Martingale, on their way to Spring Quilt Market.  Wahoooo!


My favourite so far is Number 3, The orange rosette on the right.  I did change the hexagons a little so that I could use the view master fabric.  I have a little of the Cotton + Steel new black and white fabric that I want to incorporate into Rosette 4.  By a little, I mean a half metre cut of each courtesy of a good friend.  Thanks, you know who you are!!!!



Katja took pictures of my Rosettes and set them into the layout so that I can see how they play together.  I'm finding them a little blue/green.  I'm going to have to be a little adventuresome with my choice of colours on the next few rosettes.

    not seeing them as all blue green ,looks well balance to me . Very pretty my favorite is the orange one .
