Stash Busters Quilt Along Week 14
To welcome in December we have "Winged Square." Time to dig through your scraps and come up with an assortment of fabrics.
From your background fabric you will need two 4 1/2" squares and twenty-four 2 1/2" Easy Angle pieces. From your feature fabric you will need one 4 1/2" square for the centre, and twenty-four 2 1/2" Easy Angle units that compliment that centre square.
Piece the Easy Angle units into half square units and then use the picture for placement.
Sew the half square units into sets of four, then sew the block together.
I hope this block was a little easier for you than the last. We are only six blocks away from our finish. If any of you have a block that you would like me to include, please let me know. I am usually only one block ahead, so I still have time to add in what you want.
November's winner will be announced shortly. I schedule this post ahead of time, so none of you are disappointed when you wake up on a Sunday morning. I like to wait till the last minute to give everyone time to upload their picture to our flickr page. The announcement of the winner has to wait. Good luck everyone.
Keep stitching!
