My Liquorice Bali Pop Quilt

Lacking a helper, I draped the quilt over my chicken wire fence to take a picture before I sent it off to it's new owner.  The deep red sashing really sets off the blacks and greys of the Bali Pop.

I enjoy quilting leaves so the flying geese all became leaves.  The sashing was quilted in the ditch to make the blocks pop.

And for those of you who are wondering about the chicken wire fence.  NO, I don't have chickens.  LOL.  I have an old dog who is pretty much trained to stay in the yard.  When we took down the old fence to build a garage, I didn't want to invest in an expensive temporary fence.  I had Doug slap together a chicken wire fence so that the paper boy and mail man feel safe from my not so vicious dog.

If you haven't yet entered my blog hop giveaway check out my previous post to see how you can enter.  As well, check out Noeline's Notes and Grace and Favour on my side bar.  They both have great giveaways as well.  Have a great day!
